Herpes facts

Herpes is a ridiculous skin disease as well as a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD), which has proved to be the most common STD in the recent past by the number of cases. Caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus, Herpes is a disease that results in dangerous skin infections in the form of small blisters in groups, also sometimes known as Cold Sores or Fever Blisters. Herpes is of two types, categorized on the basis of the infected body part. It is Oral Herpes, when the infections are on the face, in mouth, on or around the nose, on neck, in the scalp or sometimes on the elbows. While in the case of Genital Herpes, similar infections are on the genitals, including the private parts, on the buttocks, or sometimes in the opening of the anus. Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) is of two types, namely Herpes Simplex Virus type-1 and Herpes Simplex Virus type-2 (HSV-1 & HSV-2). Herpes Simplex Virus is also sometimes referred to as Human Herpes Virus (HHV). Herpes Simplex Virus type-1 is mainly responsible for the cases of Oral Herpes, while Herpes Simplex Virus type-2 causes the maximum of the Genital Herpes. However, most of the specialists claim that both the types of Herpes Simplex Virus are capable of causing both the types of Herpes. The general symptoms of Herpes include the small, or sometimes bigger in size too, water-filled blisters present on the skin, or in the mucous membranes of the body, such as in the mouth, lips or the genitals. Both the Herpes Simplex Virus type-1 and type-2 are highly contagious and persist in the body by becoming inactive and hence, hide from the immune system. Then the Herpes Simplex Virus repeats the cycles of being active after some fixed intervals of time. Both the types of Herpes Simplex Virus get transmitted by the direct contact with the infected area during the time of re-activation of the virus. All the types of Animal Herpes Virus have some common properties. Herpes Simplex Virus is made up of some relatively larger in size, linear Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) genome within a capsid (a cage-like protein structure) and are wrapped in a double layer of lipids, also known as the Envelope. These capsids are joined to the envelopes through Teguments. This complete structure of the HSV is known as the Virion. Both the types of the Herpes Simplex Virus contain at least 74 genes in their genomes. This was about the structure of the Herpes Simplex Virus. The mutation rate of the Herpes Simplex Virus is estimated to be approximately 6000 years ago. Herpes Simplex Virus is highly contagious, but its transmission can be very well prevented by the use of proper precautions at the time of making oral or sexual contact with the infected persons, or with the unknowns. So, use the proper perceptive measures, including the use of condoms, etc. So, always be safe and away from the Herpes Simplex Virus to be safe and away from Herpes and to continue a normal and healthy life ahead. Natural Herpes Cure is the best way to get rid of herpes.
